Working as a self-starter who learns by doing and fails forward
Validating with qualitative and quantitative research
Using creative multimedia to advocate for real experiences
Hello/您好/Bonjour ~
I'm a master's candidate of Integrated Product Design program at UPenn. I'm skilled in design research with experiences in translating actionable insights into digital and physical prototyping. I'm seeking a product design internship to apply my skills in an end-to-end design process.
My favorite thing is to go out of my comfort zone and turn strangers into friends. I've received half of my education in China and half in the US. I've stayed with 10 host families across 5 different countries and have made friends from 44 countries. I lead through active listening, from class projects to building my startup.
I love having "curiosity conversations," especially with Uber drivers. From career advice given by a data scientist who has worked globally to the top 5 places to visit in Columbia, my learning has extended broadly.
I am a self-starter and an opportunity seeker. I'm a firm believer that success is trying. I bring positivity and humility into my work and dare to learn through failing.
As a teammate, as a designer, and as a leader, I value diverse voices and promote inclusion. My mission is to create belongingness for all. Follow along my journey below to discover the origin of my mission.
